Gevvie Stone qualified today for the London Olympics when she won the women’s 1x event in Luzern, Switzerland. She’s a 27 year old medical student at Tufts and did her undergraduate at Princeton. The daughter of two elite rowers themselves, she has an incredible rowing career under her belt already, including wins at Head of the Charles and Senior Worlds.
“Gevvie hopes to win an Olympic medal in rowing and then graduate from medical school.”
